Traditional musicians of all ages are invited to gather in Douglas, Cork City next May 10-12 for Fleadh Cheoil Chorcaí 2024 which will be hosted by Douglas Comhaltas Branch.

The Cork Fleadh Cheoil is a weekend festival comprised of ceili dancing, music sessions, street entertainment and competitions in music, singing, dancing and storytelling. Under 12 and 12/15 competitions will take place on Saturday, May 11th while 15/18 and Senior competitions will take place on Sunday, May 12th. The County Dancing Finals will be held on Bank Holiday Monday, May 1st. Two qualifiers from each competition over the Fleadh weekend will go forward to represent Cork in the Munster Fleadh Cheoil in Thurles, Co. Tipperary in July.

As Fleadh hosts, Douglas Comhaltas branch are compiling an exciting programme of events to ensure that the 2024 Cork Fleadh is a memorable celebration of traditional Irish culture.
